Situated in Alexenau, on the eastern shore of Lake Attersee, nestled between mountain range and lake, lies the hotel Bramosen: on the sunny side of life. The spacious swimming area overlooking the expanse of crystal-clear water is bathed in sunlight until late in the day. The magnificent view of the lake invites you to simply relax and let your eyes wander, until at some point either the mountains or the lake beckon. No matter whether the area is to be explored by bike or on foot, the Ecker family is always available to their guests with the right recommendations for leisure activities. As a family of passionate cyclists and hikers, the Eckers are themselves often surprised at how many beautiful new routes they discover. A multitude of hiking and climbing routes are to be found starting from the very doorstep of the hotel.

The hotel’s bathing area is also ideally suited for swimming enthusiasts, or those who wish to soak up the sun. Sailing, wind or kite-surfing courses are available in Weyregg, as well as water-skiing, diving or paragliding. The bathing area has sun-beds and deckchairs available to guests: ideal conditions for hours of relaxation, while the children have their fun with the water-slide, paddle-boards and other diversions! For our tiny guests, our own chicken coup, rabbit hutches and deer enclosure provide a whole new world of fascination.

The menu reflects the location of the Hotel Bramosen: down-to-earth variations of game and fresh fish as well as regional and Austrian specialties bring a wonderful vacation day to a close, unless of course you desire to spend more time at the lake in the evenings under the stars at the fireplace.
